Volcana is a Place in Spelunky 2, being mutually exclusive with Jungle.

Volcana is a fiery, mechanical world, housing dangers that are either on fire, create fire, are fire, or explode. Care should be taken when anticipating explosions as lava may spill out of pools and block the main path and other convenient routes to the exit. After completing 4 levels, the Spelunker is taken to Olmec's Lair.
- 2-1 contains two rooms with backlayer entrances; one with a Key within, and another that is behind a locked gate containing Van Horsing.
- Vlad's Castle and Moon Challenge can spawn on either 2-2, 2-3, or 2-4, but never both on the same level. The Drill can be activated with the Udjat Eye to bore a hole to the entrance to Vlad's Castle, is possible to reach it without the Drill's help.
- Volcana may also contain two specific Level Feelings other than the usual dark and echo level feelings, being ""You hear the sounds of metal clanking..."" and "The dead are restless!" levels.
