Vlad is an exceptionally powerful vampire found in 5-1 of Hell.
Behavior[]
Vlad will always spawn perched at the very top of his castle, beside one or two Succubi.
Vlad functions identically to a normal vampire, with the only differences being that he has a whopping 10 HP and drops his unique Cape on death.
Just beside Vlad, a player can find his Amulet imbedded in the castle walls, an accessory granting its bearer full immunity to fire-based attacks, including lava.

Trivia[]
Vlad is named after Vlad the Impaler - also known as Dracula - who inspired the villain of Bram Stoker's vampire novel.
More specifically, it seems likely he is inspired by the version of Vlad in the game NetHack, who is also a vampire who appears in a tower in the underworld (named Gehennom in NetHack 3.1.0 and Hell in previous versions).
Visually, he resembles Gary Oldman's portrayal of Dracula in the 1992 film directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
