Vlad's Amulet is a unique item that grants the Spelunker invulnerability to Magma Men and lava.

Vlad's Amulet is only available on 5-1 of Hell hidden within a tile at the top of Vlad's Castle. It is only visible with the Udjat Eye or Spectacles, and only one can be obtained every game.
The amulet is a unique item, due to the fact that it is the only item that completely negates a specific damage type. It is especially valuable in Hell where it is found, due to the constant presence of lava and Magma Men.
Diving into lava with the amulet equipped can be a quick escape from a sticky situation, and it may also allows the player to collect treasure and other items that drop in lava before they burn up.
The Amulet is especially valuable in the battle with King Yama, as it makes the many Magma Men he spawns as well as the lava at the bottom of the level harmless.
