Traps are dangerous environmental hazards designed to punish unwanted trespassers.
There are many varieties of traps in the caves, all of which can quickly end an unwary player's game.
Even experienced players will frequently find themselves on the receiving end of these malicious devices.

It should be noted that enemies killed by traps - either by accident, or a result of the player luring (or forcing) the monster into harm's way aren't counted among the player's kills on the scoreboard, so do not count towards opening the Stars Room.
