I'm not going to lie - this article was started so the contributors could discuss some of the more hilarious deaths that have befallen us. I've got two to report, both of which happened just recently and took me out in Area 1:
- I was about to rob a store by standing one tile outside its entrance and tossing a bomb in the instant before it exploded. I've gotten pretty proficient at this method - but this time I'd forgotten that I upgraded to sticky bombs. The bomb stuck to the bottom of the shop's sign. Boom. Game over.
- I spotted a giant spider clinging to the ceiling and decided to take it down. First I got rid of the rock I was holding - I threw it so that it stuck in the spider's web, because, hey, why not - then tossed a bomb so that it, too, stuck in the web. The bomb exploded, killing the spider and launching the rock toward me at high speed. Crack. Game over.

even more yasds to add[]
Heres a couple of more yasds that should be added k 1. Try to hit the ghost, ignoring the fact of instant kill with the ghost when you touch it. 2. Flash a shop keeper with the camera, unarmed, and have it be a shop besides a weapon shop or a bomb shop and get killed. 3. Get stunned above an alter and fall on the alter, only to get sacrificed. 4. Anything to do with a Hired Hand

- No it's not. Nobody is being insulted. A wiki page written about nobody in particular hardly qualifies as a personal attack. The tone of the article is playful, an in no way ought to be interpreted as hurtful. Don't be so bloody over-sensitive.
It's true that this page is a shitshow and has always needed improvement in the quality department, but the subject of the article is absolutely fine. // TenhGrey (talk) 02:39, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
A YASD for classic[]
While exploring the caves in classic, you get an itch, so you pause the game to avoid wasting time before the ghost comes, but you press esc and f1 at the same time, which kills you.

It's been a long time since this was discussed, but this page needs cleanup and some entries might not fit the definition of YASD. I can start fixing this up soon

I've gotta be honest, i haven't been linking to this page and have even been removing links to it when making spelunky 2 versions of articles. It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOO needlessly long. If you can clean it up, i'll start adding links to it everywhere for you. - bread1129
