Is it wrong to write an article whose sole purpose is giving users new ideas how to cheat? I'm askin' here. 65.185.185.208 04:22, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm of the opinion that "information wants to be free". The information already exists, it's no longer possible to force it into non-existence, so there's no point in hiding it.
It's true that cheating can ruin a game (and this is an outstanding and unique game, so people shouldn't ruin it), so I do agree that individuals need to think carefully about how much and what kind of cheating they allow themselves to do. It's true that the easiest way to achieve this is "abstinence". But it's also true that (with care) it's possible to find a happy midpoint, where you cheat enough to let you progress past "permanently stuck points" so you can experience the entire game (that you otherwise wouldn't be able to), but you don't cheat enough to ruin major game mechanics. --Interiot 15:31, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm think I've had the Snake Pit appear occasionally on level 1 in 0.99.5: can someone check the source code or do some more testing? It also contradicts the "dark level" scumming section, since that's a level feeling as well. - E-mouse 15:49, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

You're right. I've run across snake pits a few times on Level 1 as well. Edited accordingly. MagFlare 00:46, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
