Thank you for starting this article, gonna get to work on wikifying it and adding tips on golden idol retrieval.--MechanisMs 23:54, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
I just had a ghost chase me through a golden idol, it didn't turn to diamond. Are we sure that's not totally made up? Tour86rocker 05:50, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
- I've removed the statement. Searching for 'oDiamond' in the source makes it clear only rubies, sapphires, and emeralds can turn into diamonds. Also, the "Diamond Idol" is named 'oCrystalSkull' in the source code, which is obviously a far more apt title that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the Golden Idol. I'll move the statement to the soon-to-be-created Source Code#Unused. --Interiot 18:53, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Is there a different setup for idols in the City of Gold, similar to the Crystal Skull's distinction, or is the uncertainty note in the article redundant? - E-mouse 16:24, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Overall very impressed by the fleshing out of the Area 4 Trap descriptions, very encompassing of nearly all aspects.
however, I am kind of saddened by the Area 1 Boulder trap description. First off for a silly reason: "If you're standing on top of a platform two tiles up from the rolling surface, note that you can fall on the boulder and get crushed if you don't jump over it as it approaches"
You haven't gone BOULDER SURFING YET?! That's almost completely heretical. And lastly, for a reason slightly more tactical because I didn't think it too important to record in the article when I first encountered it (perhaps you have too): the ability to evade the boulder by crawling into a recess in the ground and letting it roll right over your head (provided the recess is small enough not to accommodate the boulder.) While situational, it is nonetheless a safe (albeit frightening) way to evade the boulder. Cheers!--MechanisMs 10:50, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well, that's embarrassing. Yeah, I haven't played with boulder traps much - they're relatively easy to evade so I tend to be paranoid about it. Go ahead and fix that. And thanks for the complements on Area 4. - E-mouse 22:19, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
