Methods of Killing
These are the only known ways by which Croc Men can be killed. This means the only way to add Croc Men to your journal is to either use the Scepter, or let the Croc Man kill you. (Having them crush themselves won't count.)
The above quote is false. I am unsure how, but it is possible (and very difficult) to kill a Croc Man by jumping on its head. I've done it before, and it's the only time I have managed to kill one. Unfortunately, I have no way of uploading a video or picture of this.
- Hmm. I understand that Croc Men have a very short recovery period after a teleport during which they can't teleport again, so it's theoretically possible for them to take damage during this time, if they happen to teleport into a space directly underneath you while falling, but the window of opportunity must be extremely narrow.
But this doesn't explain how they're able to teleport out of lava pools if they land in one while teleporting. Perhaps the rules are different for traps?
I'm not positively certain, but I think I've heard someone say that telefragging them doesn't work - apparently you both teleport at the same instant and just end up switching places. // TenhGrey (talk) 10:14, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
- I'm also fairly certain that I've killed a Croc Man by freezing it with the Freeze Ray and jumping on its head, though the article for the Freeze Ray says that this doesn't work. I'll try to test it again when I get the chance. 22.214.171.124 03:35, October 7, 2013 (UTC)Natszygryk
- The Croc Man can also be killed by the Crush Trap if the trap is triggered when his back is turned. I'm unsure of this. I'm gonna go in-game to try and confirm it. Drakon136 (talk) 23:17, October 9, 2013 (UTC)
Stunning a croc man.
I remember during one of Michaelalfox's streams, he stunned a croc man somehow. You should watch it and see.
