Power-Ups are a group of items that provide an effect when collected by the Spelunker in Spelunky 2. These effects can vary from increasing resources, to giving new abilities, to modifying the Spelunker's already existing abilities. These items are automatically collected by contacting them. With a few exceptions, power-ups are permanent upgrades and will last for the rest of the run once collected.
