Man-eating Plants will eat the [[Spelunker]] for an instant kill, even when jumped on. However with [[Spike Shoes]], the Spelunker can kill plants by jumping on them. Whipping a plant will damage and stun it for a few seconds, though care must be taken to avoid getting too close to the plant when whipping. They will also eat Cavemen or Damsels who run into them or fall on them, which will immediately stun them. They can also be stunned and damaged by thrown items (like a [[pot]] or [[stone]]), ranged weapons, and [[bomb]]s.
