Hang Spiders are enemies found in the Jungle in Spelunky 2.
Behavior
Hang Spiders are identical in behavior to the Spinner Spiders of Spelunky HD. They will always spawn attached to a web, and will periodically dive down. If stunned, either by a broken arrow, or by a camera, they will drop down, and hop around like a normal spider.
Trivia
- They seemed to be based off of the spiny orb weaver. the spider shown in game are most likely female, as the species generally shows sexual dimophism with the females being noticeably larger than the males, and more brightly colored.
