Cave moles are enemies in [[Spelunky 2]] that spawn in the [[Dwelling]] area, they can go underground making it hard to damage them. While underground, Cave Moles put out a dirt trail particle effect so you can see where they are. When they come out of the ground, they have a short time of invincibility. Cave Moles have 3 HP and leave a corpse behind when killed. As you will often kill a cave mole instead of knocking it out, per their overall annoying characteristics, a player will usually not sacrifice a living cave mole.
